About Us
Randi Thompson is a media and government relations powerhouse who has been making waves in Nevada since high school. As a class officer and campaign volunteer for Bob List for Governor in 1978 (at the age of 17!) she got a taste for politics that led her to Washington D.C., where she spent 10 years as a lobbyist for the Reagan and Bush administrations. She eventually returned to Nevada and began her career as a Public Relations and Government Affairs consultant in 1992.
Randi's passion for media and public relations has made her a fixture in the Nevada media scene. You may have seen her on Nevada Newsmakers, heard her on the radio, or read her column in the Reno Gazette Journal. She has extensive connections with media outlets and reporters around the state and knows how to get stories placed and events covered. Her clients range from small businesses to national organizations looking to increase their profile, advocate for issues, or sway public opinion.
In addition to media and public relations, Randi is an expert in government affairs. She has lobbied at the Nevada legislature since 1993 and has worked as a campaign consultant for numerous elected officials. She has strong working relationships with state legislators, state agencies, the Federal delegation, and officials and staff in Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County.
Community Involvement
Randi is very active in her community, giving her the opportunity to interact with the business leaders and decision-makers in Northern Nevada.
